Homestuck AU: Fighterstuck

I came up with this AU a few months ago. It's basically just HumanStuck meets Street Fighter. The premise is that there is an international fighting tournament (called the Skaia Tournament) being held to assemble fighters from around the world. Before anyone asks, no, I'm not including the pre-scratch trolls as fighters because if I did, things would get redundant.

Characters
John Egbert: A skilled capoeira fighter who enters the tournament to test his abilities and meet other fighters.

Rose Lalonde: A practitioner of Mantis style kung fu who enters the tournament with the intent of using the prize money to help her mother through her alcohol addiction.

Dave Strider: A ninja trained by his older brother (who used to be the reigning champ of an underground fighting ring). Dave enters the tournament to test his skill.

Jade Harley: A girl who only recently arrived on the mainland after living on an uncharted island for as long as she can remember, Jade is a self-taught master of monkey style kung fu who enters the tournament to make new friends, though she also feels a mysterious urge to reach Mr. Noir.

Jane Crocker: Jane is a kenpo fighter who enters the tournament to meet new friends and add new recipes to her cookbook (hey, CAPCOM did the same thing with El Fuerte).

Jake English: An adventurous kickboxer who enters the tournament for the thrill of the fight.

Roxy Lalonde: A natural-born master of drunken boxing (naturally), most normal fighting events no longer present much challenge to Roxy. When she hears that the Skaia tournament permits a wide variety of techniques, she enters to see if this tournament will be different.

Dirk Strider: A black belt in Shito-Ryu karate who enters to test his skills and find someone to call a rival.

Karkat Vantas: Karkat is a hot-headed street-brawler who was born and raised in the slums of New York. Lucky for him, the tournament isn't subject to very many rules. Karkat enters to prove to everyone (possibly himself included) that he is one of the world’s strongest fighters.

Aradia Megido: A practitioner of Shaolin, Aradia enters to use the prize money to help her poor family (Her, her mother, and her sister Damara)

Tavros Nitram: A skilled Muay Thai fighter, Tavros enters the tournament with the intent of donating the prize money to a children’s hospital

Sollux Captor: A friend of Karkat’s who studies Wado-Ryu karate, Sollux enters to challenge Karkat and see who’s the better fighter

Nepeta Leijon: A master of Tiger style kung fu, Nepeta enters to accompany her friend Equius and settle their friendly rivalry

Kanaya Maryam: A graceful Crane style kung fu fighter, Kanaya enters the tournament in hopes of meeting new people

Terezi Pyrope: Vriska’s arch-rival, Terezi went blind due to slight brain damage that occurred when Vriska kicked her and she hit her head on the ground. Afterward, Terezi learned to sense the flow of the universe around her (sort of like Kenshi from Mortal Kombat). Terezi is a master of Dragon style kung fu, and she enters the tournament to face Vriska in a rematch.

Vriska Serket: A prodigy of taekwondo (she’s so much like Juri already, so why not) who enters the tournament so she can “annihil8 the competition” and prove that she’s the best.

Equius Zahhak: Equius, a heavyweight boxing champion, enters the tournament for a new challenge, normal boxing no longer holding any excitement for him.

Gamzee Makara: Gamzee uses an unorthodox fighting technique that he developed himself, which he calls Kuángbào. He enters to show people his technique’s power.

Eridan Ampora: Eridan is a street brawler who enters hoping to meet someone he can call his rival.

Feferi Peixes: A tai chi master, Feferi enters to make new friends and test her skill (this seems to be a recurring motive).

Calliope Kerubi: Calliope and her twin brother belong to a very wealthy family. Their parents are practically never home (working overseas and that), so they only have each other for company (they could both be much more thrilled about that). Because of their parents’ wealth, the two siblings are possible targets to hold ransom. To avoid this, they have both been taught self-defense. Calliope is trained in mixed martial arts. When she heard about the Skaia tournament, she entered with the hopes of making some real friends.

Caliborn Kerubi: Calliope’s twin brother, Caliborn is his sister’s polar opposite in personality. He is trained in kickboxing, and has a fierce rivalry with his sister. When he found out that Calliope was entering the tournament, he entered as well, hoping to finally settle the score.

Mr. Noir: A shady man shrouded in mystery. Noir is an experienced street brawler with military training. As the host of the tournament, he awaits the final victor to challenge them.

Lord English: A giant of a man as mysterious as Mr. Noir, English is suspected to be connected to a series of brutal mass murders in almost every major city around the globe. A mixed martial artist with near-demonic strength and an insatiable thirst for destruction, English has entered the tournament to add to his body count (basically the Akuma of the AU).
